Six Days of Creation Workshop at Antiochian Village

The first of Hexaemeron’s 2006 Six Days of Creation Icon Painting Workshops took place at Antiochian Village Retreat and Conference Center in the Laurel Mountain Highlands of Pennsylvania, June 11-17. The workshop concluded with a vesper service in St. Ignatius Chapel located on the Village campgrounds. Camp Director Fr. Michael Nasser blessed our students’ completed icons at the end of the service and invited the camp counselors to view them.

It was a very fitting tribute to the workshop because our staff, instructors and students had begun each morning of the workshop at matins, worshipping with these young men and women who will be shepherds to the hundreds of children coming to the Village camp throughout the summer.

Our thanks to Bishop Thomas, Fr. Michael and the staff of Antiochian Village Retreat and Conference Center for making our week so enjoyable.
